St Margaret’s Cottage has been recently restored and refurbished to provide comfortable, clean holiday accommodation with all the charm and features of a 100-year-old period property.
The holiday cottage is located in a peaceful and secluded setting on the outskirts of the conservation village of Coldingham, and is only one mile away from the delightful sandy beaches of Coldingham Bay.
Also nearby, are the towns of Eyemouth and Berwick-upon-Tweed as well as a host of other sightseeing attractions in the Scottish Borders, such as the famous St Abb’s nature reserve.
The cottage itself combines old-fashioned tranquillity and charm, with an attractive interior equipped with all mod cons for your convenience.
Sleeping up to four people comfortably, St Margaret’s has two bedrooms (one double, one twin in which the beds can be pushed together) a bathroom with large shower (not bath) and under floor heating, living room with a beautiful Norwegian cast iron stove (gas-fired), colour TV, Blu-Ray DVD player, CD and iPod players and a conservatory with under floor heating.
The cottage is self-catering and the fitted kitchen features a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a comfortable dining area. Garden furniture is also provided. The cottage is equipped with broadband and Wi-Fi.
Externally, St Margaret’s cottage has a charming south-facing garden completely walled and hedged, and is situated in a particularly peaceful country lane with pleasant walks nearby. There is a south facing stone pave patio with stylish garden furniture & sun umbrella.
The cottage nestles in a slight hillside, and the a delightful sea view can be seen from the driveway, which is lined with shrubs and flowers. There is parking for two cars.
St Margaret’s Cottage is available to rent throughout the year. Rent by the week in high season.
Short lets are also available.
The rates at St Margaret’s cottage include electricity, gas & linen.
